What is Dye Migration?

Dye migration is the movement of dye from a dyed material (t-shirt) to another material (ink) in contact with the dyed material. It can occur on polyester and poly/cotton blend t-shirts and other garments when the garment is heated to temperatures in excess of 265°F (130°C), causing the dye in the garment to sublimate. When inks printed onto the garment are heated to temperatures higher than 265°F (130°C), dye in the garment can move into the ink itself, causing discoloration of the ink. In practice, this results in the print color changes into a mixture of fabric color and original ink color. This may be particularly problematic for heat transfer prints, because all transfers must be heated in order to be transferred onto fabrics. 

To avoid this problem, check your fabric specifications with fabric/garment manufacturer before applying heat transfers. Printing onto 100% cotton, 100% nylon or nylon blends reduces the likelihood of dye migration, whereas using polyesters and polyester blends increases the chance for defect. Once the garment has been printed, avoid excessive temperature spikes, and do not under or over cure. Once cured, stack garments after they are no longer hot. While we always use low-bleed inks when printing transfers, it may not be enough for fabrics with known dye migration properties. Dye migration can be alleviated by adding additional layers of specially formulated dye-blocking ink, and if needed, you must select "need dye block" option (with extra charges) before proceeding with your order.

For other types of transfers, please contact us for dye block options. For transfers ordered without dye block options, we are not responsible for dye migration problem.




Term Accounts with deferred payment

We do allow customers with authorized term accounts to place order online without payment first. Such accounts may choose to provide a PURCHASE ORDER reference when placing the order online, instead of paying immediately with credit card. However, please note, website promotion or discount code cannot be applied to orders placed with Purchase Order method. 

If you are a legitimate wholesale/resale company and have established credit with us through previous/offline business dealings, we encourage you to register a free account online and then contact us to authorize your account as a term account, so that you could start placing orders online while keeping your existing NET30 payment term. You will receive an invoice upon shipping/picking of the finished products, and you are then allowed to pay your invoice within 30 days from the date of our invoice.

Shipping and Delivery

Shipping and Delivery is the charge for internet order processing, item production, packaging, transport and handling. We don’t guarantee delivery times, but we do our best to provide accurate estimates.

Deliveries occur only on weekdays. Shipping and Delivery charges are subject to change and are determined when you order. Estimated delivery time assumes orders are placed before 12:00 noon (PST). Orders you place late on Friday or on weekend or holidays will not be processed until next business day. Charges may be added to orders with Priority, Overnight and International shipping if we try unsuccessfully to deliver your order more than once.

As all our orders are custom made, please allow us 1-5 days production time before shipping out, depending on order quantity and complexity. Rush orders may be accomodated by contacting us offline and/or with surcharges.

Returns and Replacements

We want you to be completely happy with your order. However, as all our transfer orders are custom made, we cannot accept any returns. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please contact us and describe the problem in details, possibly with pictures or videos that help us understand your problem. If we determined that the problem is due to our production quality, we will gladly redo the order and ship at no extra cost to you. Problem with our transfers must be reported to us within 14 days of receipt of merchandise.
